MTV is reportedly thinking about a “Hills” reboot.
The show was a spin-off of “Laguna Beach.”
If it were to be brought back, star Lauren Conrad would reportedly not return.

“The Hills” might be coming back to MTV, but there’s one sad catch. Sources told Us Weekly that MTV is considering a “Hills” reboot without the show’s star, Lauren Conrad. “The rest of the crew is all still friends besides her,” one source said. “Everyone else is down to do it.”

The hit reality show, which aired from 2006 to 2010, was a spin-off of “Laguna Beach” and followed Conrad as she pursued a fashion career. It chronicled her life and relationship with friends Audrina Patridge, Whitney Port, Lo Bosworth, and Heidi Montag as the crew partied, worked, and dated in Los Angeles. Conrad and Montag famously had a falling out due to Montag’s now-husband Spencer Pratt. It was filled with dramatic fights and memorable quotes, like Conrad’s iconic “homeboy wore combat boots to the beach” line when Justin Bobby ditched Patridge.

But Conrad eventually left in the middle of season five to pursue her career. Her former “Laguna Beach” co-star Kristin Cavallari replaced her for season six. Without Conrad, the show was quickly canceled. Patridge and Port both told Us that they’d be willing to reunite. “I’m not opposed to it,” Patridge said. “It would really depend on what it was going to be. So, we’ll see.” Port admitted that it would be “hard” but “it’d definitely be something fun.”

Conrad has since gone on to become a successful fashion designer and lifestyle blogger.

This might surprise you to hear, but I do not by any means consider myself a fitness buff. I’ve shared strict diet and fitness plans on the site before, but if I’m being honest with myself (and with all of you), I don’t tend to stick with those plans for long. As time goes on, I’ve realized that I do better when I am flexible, gentle, and realistic with my goals. When it comes to diet and exercise, my real mantra is that moderation is key. I can have my cake (or pie or glass of wine…) and eat it too, as long as I practice portion control. I don’t have to pretend that I’m going to sign up for a boot camp class every morning at 6am, and then quit after two days. I can still stay active by taking workout classes a couple times a week with friends, going on hikes or long walks on the beach, and chasing after my son. Staying strong is important to me, but having a healthy attitude toward fitness is even more important.

So with all of that in mind, I have some fabulous, realistic health and wellness content coming your way this month. Our official theme is June Shape Up, and I’ll be giving you all the information and tools you need to get in great shape for summer. We’ll have a Tuesday Ten post counting down the most fascinating health and wellness audio books, a sample keto menu plan from one of my editors who is trying the diet, and tips for mastering the post-workout primp (when you don’t have time for a full shower). And if you are a major fitness buff who has been wanting to challenge yourself, we’ll be sharing The Real Runner’s guide to Marathon Training. Since it never hurts to have a little motivation in the form of new workout gear, we’ll be sharing the chicest workout clothes and shoes. Plus, there will be plenty of other beauty, fashion, food, and Father’s Day content, too. So get ready for it…
